THeaTRe

It has been few good years since I last watch musical theatre. Of course, unlike some artsy fartsy people who loves musical play, I don't particularly enjoy it. Last play I watched was Tunku Abdul Rahman the musical. And if you're wondering how was it, let me tell you that I'm grateful it's a free ticket because I would not spend a dime on a draggy and boring play like that. Sorry.

So why go for Lat Kampung Boy the musical?

I honestly not sure. But you know, the play's not bad at all. The story is based on a graphic novel or in my fav word, cartoon. Yes, it's a play based on cartoon by Datuk Lat, a famous Malaysian cartoonist and the story is about Lat himself. Some part are kinda draggy and I really think the show was toooooo long. It would help if the seats are comfortable with soft arm rest. I do think the actors and actresses were awesome though. Trust me, it's not easy performing live on stage like that. They don't have director shouting "CUT!" and re-take the scene beause it's live. They act and sing at the same time which not many people can do. And they dance while acting and singing! Hontou, Kudos to all of them.

Shucks I gotta continue doing my work.

When was the last time I had to do case studies? Geeee....that's donkey years ago.MMU days I think. Well, here I am trying to figure out what to write for my case study on Quality Award. I'm hoping I can get some ideas by writing in here first, plus i havent update/blog anything for as long as I can remember.

This is part of my KPI which I need to complete by end of this month. My boss wanted me to write a 2 pages "essay" on recent event that I organized. The Quality Award is actually not my idea but it was suggested by my boss. Since I'm the Quality Consultant in my company, I'm basically in charge of "initiating" it. I was suppose to work with Mr. P but knowing him, things will delay and I don't want that to affect my performance. We did work on it together in the beginning and presented the draft to Andy, but from there onwards, or should I say after few delays from Mr. P, I decided to work on it alone and I prefer it that way.

I'm glad I decided to continue this on my own because the first ever Quality Award event for Datacom has been successfully launched (thanks to ME :) ) and the winner for KL and Manila has been identified. Of course, a lot of people helped me in the process of getting this whole event happen, I'm no super woman to actually DO everything by myself. Kumar helped me with the judging criteria, we spent quite some time figuring it out. Guna, being a champ by having all the certificates printed out and ordering the glass trophy. Mr Bala & Andy of course, supporting me by giving all those tips and advices. But those whom actually made this event successful is the participants. They shared some awesome initiatives and presentation skills.

It was not easy at first since I'm not sure what my boss expect to come out of it but little by little, I managed to understand. I won't say it was a perfect event because it's far from that but it's definitely a good start. I've learned a lot and I'm craving to learn more. We'll see how it goes for next financial year. I hope everyone will acknowledge this event and make it part of DC's culture. *fingers cross*

I don't know how I can finish my case study on this, so wish me luck :)

My eye lids are getting so heavy! oh God please help me go through the day *it's only 10AM now* -_-'

It's all because of Korean drama that I can't keep my eyes open now. Spent 7 hours watching Fullhouse til 6AM and woke up around 8AM this morning. Thanks to Kyon who "supplied" this series to me on weekdays LOL...*blaming others for own fault*

Nonetheless, I can't wait to continue the series tonight. Rain is just Mega hotness! I know it's an old drama and I'm pretty outdated but better late than never they say. *SIGH* I'm a sucker for romantic movies...especially if Rain's in it...

What can I do to stay awake?

Kyon....it's all your fault....HAHAHAHAH....

Do you ever feel like you needed to make a big change? Like there is something more out there?

I feel like I need to do something new and exciting, whether it be a new work place or some major life change. What am I looking for? I have no idea to be honest. I'm trying my best to be grateful for what I have now but at times, I need to get out of my confortable zone. I may not find what I'm looking for but at least I know I'm doing something about it, or try to do something about it..

I came across this quote from the net "Life needs drama". It'sooo true..however, what kind of drama do I want in my life now?

urrrgghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Do I have to fight this feeling off? I don't know..but I can tell you this, it's a constant struggle.

500 DaYs oF SuMMeR

I know this comes tad too late but I MUST MUST MUST write about this uber awesome movie *grin* If you haven't watch this yet..what are you waiting for..download it! this is one of the best movie I've seen in a long time *watched it in Glorietta 4, Manila*

Note that this is not a love story, but it is a story about love (how the narrator starts). It is a peculiarly told love story between Tom and Summer. The story jumps back and forth over a period of 500 days in Tom's life with all good + bad memories he shared with Summer. If you think it's one happily-ever-after kind of movie then you're dead wrong. It's unpredictable and unique! Joseph Gordon-Levitt was surprisingly adorable in this movie as hopeless-romantic..and Zooey Deschanel...there's just something about her.. *loves*

What I love most in this movie are the soundtracks. Songs chosen are brilliant! If you enjoy indie pop music then this one's for you. Marc Webb did a great job with songs and overall direction of this film and like they said, quote > "There's always a soundtrack to any relationship" 'When you're falling in love or out of love, you listen to a lot of music" <3>

It's a hearthy dose of something real, funny, heart-warming and definitely not your typical boy-meets-girl movie *2 thumbs up*

I love this piano composition from Yiruma...awesome piece indeed *2 thumbs up* It has been popularly mistaken as Bella's lullaby in Twilight. Personally, this would have been such a better choice for Bella's lullaby. Not that I don't like Carter Burwell's score but this is more "Bella"ish if you know what I mean . Plus it's suppose to be a sad lullaby that makes Bella goes all teary-eyed when Edward played it :)

I wish I can play this on piano..lemme rephrase that..I wish I can play piano so I can play this piece *grin* I'm taking piano lesson now from Fafu though everyone laughed at me (Eric & Ben especially) I know it's too late to learn piano but I still wanna go for it :) Had my first lesson last 2 days and it was...alright...haha....I know how to read music sheets now! How cool is that LOL.. Will go for 2nd session tonight or tomorrow..can't wait. Fafu said I can play guitar better than piano *teehee*

I haven't update this blog for ages...sheeeesh...(that's no good FinFin)..I lead a boring life now..seriously..finishing my animes as usual...weeknights and weekends... :)

Went to Singapore to visit oniichan last 2 weeks with Erica-chan..spent almost the whole day on Saturday at Universal Studio *wwhhheeeeeeee* We managed to visit all the attractions but they freaking closed the main attraction, Battlestar Galactica roller coaster..was so dissappointed! Anyways, I was very impressed with with the buildings, architectures and designs...LOVE! We did lotsa things (and I'm not gonna write it all down)..took tons of pictures too :) Will I go there again? hmmm...I can't say..it's 72SGD per person (quite pricey when you convert it to RM) and one time is enough I guess *grin*

Owh..before I forget..Happy Wesak Day! :) ..over & out..

HiaTuS

sorry..I've been on hiatus *excuses*

It's been aaaaaggggggeeeeeessss. Getting from my mind to my fingers and onto the computer has been the problem. My days are full but there's not much to save or share. I'm back in KL now after 3 months being a Pinoy (in case you don't know, it's short for Philipino). Whether it's for good or not, yet to decide but from what I heard, I'm back for good *yippeee yeay*

Do I miss Manila? Of course. With those shoppings and "macaroons", who won't miss it. Shopping malls in Manila is plentiful. Haven for those who can sniff out a bargain *wink* I miss malling times with my ates there *teehee* And really, it is also the best place to do some "people-watching".

Though I miss being far far away from Malaysia *exaggerating* (only 4 hours flight), I gotta admit that back home is a lot easier and more comfortable. I have my closet! my car! Haiikal! my family! my Malaysian friends who understands Bahasa and most of all awesome food *grin*
My only comfort place in Manila is Ascott! I don't mind staying there forever hehe...

As for now, I need a holiday. I have 12 days leaves to clear by March..any suggestions? :)
